Prisca Ouya is an incredibly gifted dancer, choreographer and director and I was lucky enough to write music for her breath-taking congolese opera. I am VERY pleased to announce that Prisca Ouya’s “LUZIMBU” was a huge success at New York’s La MaMa theatre in Manhattan.
WORLD OF WEARABLE ART SHOW EVENT
I am currently writing orchestral music for New Zealand’s most spectacular show event. The classical piece I am constructing will feature a large string section with various woodwind instruments and large choir. Recording session will be conducted in Prague, Czech Republic in July 2009.

WOMEN IN WARZONES
I am very happy to be able to write music for an upcoming filmproject called “Kesi - Born Of War” directed by Scott Blanding, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Scott and his sister Melanie have been travelling the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa last year. Melanie was working on a photostory on rape victims and Scott was filming in and around Panzi Hospital for his documentary “Women In Warzones”. Scott is currently shooting his new film “Kesi - Born Of War” in Philadelphia that tells the story of Kesi and Shani, mother and daughter, two congolese refugees. They struggle with a painful secret that not only threatens their relationship, but their identity as well. The story is based on the conflict in Congo where tens of thousands of women and girls have become victims of sexual violence. Please visit the link below for further information. MUSIC FOR PLANET EARTH FOREVER - THE SECRET
It has been an extraordinary experience to be working with the “The Secret” team on their latest video and visualization tool called “Planet Earth Forever”. The creative process and the custom scoring of the three minute video clip unfolded just magically for me. The beautiful “The Secret” team and the stunning visuals of the clip triggered my inspiration and I came up with a piano piece and an accompanying string arrangement. The goal was to convey the fragility, sensitivity and grace of our mother earth, to raise awareness, and to hopefully touch everyone who watches the clip from deep within.
